About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join providers delivering diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, gynecological care, and urgent care

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One of the following: completion of an accredited medical assistant program; LPN licensure; completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program; attainment of CCMA certification as a UWH employee; acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated; or one year of recent Medical Assistant experience with CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 year required, or LPN licensure upon hire required
- If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification upon hire required
- CPR/BLS certification upon hire required
- One year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day/evening shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- No weekends required
