About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families through compassionate, patient-centered care
- Coordinate care across medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and radiation oncology services
- Perform targeted patient assessments during clinic visits, telephone encounters, and through the patient portal
- Assist providers with endoscopic procedures and support procedural care within the clinic
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of school of nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- 6 months of RN experience Required
- Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
- Ambulatory experience Preferred
- Relevant oncology experience Preferred
- Chemotherapy experience Preferred
- Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
- Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
- Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
