About the role
- Deliver acute, hospital-level care to patients in their homes using an evidence-based and patient-centered therapy approach.
- Help patients regain independence, improve daily function, and safely navigate their home setting, reducing hospital stays and improving outcomes.
- Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive exemplary care in their home.
- Work primarily in patient homes but has a physical work location at the Administrative Services Building in Madison, WI.
- Day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday; 60% FTE; hours may vary based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy Required
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required
- 2 years prior relevant experience Preferred
- This position may be eligible for a $2,400 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
- Evening and night shift differential
- Weekend differential (if implemented)
