About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end to end Accounts Payable operations including invoice processing, approvals, payments, accruals, and prepaids by monitoring invoice volumes, reviewing applicable reports and dashboards
- Supervise and develop a team of seventeen by assigning tasks, monitoring performance and providing coaching and feedback
- Assist staff with questions and issues, providing guidance on appropriate methods to research and resolve problems
- Own the annual 1099 reporting process
- Ensure all supplier inquiries are responded to in a timely, professional, and courteous manner by the team
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to scale AP workflows, reduce manual effort and strengthen internal controls
- Work closely with cross functional teams in support of the procure to pay process
- Operate with a high degree of independence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field Required
- Two (2) years of accounts payable experience may be considered in lieu of the degree in addition to the experience below
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or another related field Preferred
- 3 years experience in Accounts Payable Required
- Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience Preferred
