About the role
- Provide security services at SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL as part of UW Health's Environmental Safety and Security team
- Work scheduled shifts including day, evening, and night (6:00a-6:00p) with every other weekend and some holiday coverage
- Participate in on-call, overtime, and receive shift differentials as needed
- Maintain mandatory certifications (IAHSS, CPR, CPI, AVADE) within required timeframes
- Hold and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per Health System insurance requirements
Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license and driving record that allows Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent (Required)
- Within orientation period must receive mandatory certification through IAHSS (International Association of Health System Safety and Security.) (Required)
- Certification in CPR CPI (Crisis Preventive intervention.) and AVADE training courses within 90 days of hire (Required)
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Ability to work 100% full/eve/night shifts (6:00a-6:00p), every other weekend, and some holidays
