About the role
- Lead project management efforts for children’s hospitals U.S. News & World Report survey.
- Apply quality improvement methodology and change management expertise to support continuous improvement (IHI Model for Improvement, A3, Six Sigma, LEAN).
- Analyze and interpret benchmarking data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Bring knowledge of clinical quality registries and support registry-related initiatives.
- Coach teams and facilitate quality improvement efforts across pediatric care settings.
- Manage and coordinate improvement project portfolios and related deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Four years of relevant quality improvement experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Health Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
- 3 years of related experience in applying process improvement and project management skills.
- One (1) year of experience with coaching teams and facilitating quality improvement OR three (3) years of experience working in patient care or a related job in a healthcare setting.
- Evidence of managing a portfolio of improvement projects (Preferred).
- Experience facilitating quality improvement in a healthcare setting (Preferred).
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred).
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (IHI Model for Improvement, A3, Six Sigma, or LEAN).
- Knowledge of clinical quality registries.
- Ability to analyze and interpret benchmarking data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
