Business Transformation Leader

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead post-acquisition integration activities, from diligence through execution, ensuring alignment with Fluent and Valsoft best practices
- Partner with executive teams of acquired businesses to translate integration objectives into clear operational priorities
- Establish and continuously improve scalable integration playbooks, checklists, and governance frameworks
- Track, report, and drive key integration KPIs and value creation metrics
- Identify integration risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Act as the central point of coordination between Fluent, Valsoft, and portfolio company stakeholders
- Lead the implementation of AI tools and workflows across portfolio companies
- Work with business leaders to embed AI into standard operating procedures, improving efficiency, decision-making, and scalability
- Ensure AI adoption aligns with Valsoft best practices, focusing on practical, value-driven use cases rather than experimentation for its own sake
- Support change management and adoption to ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes
- Drive the rollout and adoption of Valsoft’s Pricing Playbook, including value-based pricing, discount governance, and monetization optimization
- Implement the Professional Services Playbook, improving utilization, delivery margins, and customer outcomes
- Support the adoption of the R&D Playbook, helping teams improve roadmap discipline, prioritization, and development efficiency
- Partner closely with functional leaders to tailor playbooks to each business while maintaining core standards
- Conduct financial analysis across P&L, revenue, cost structures, and operational performance
- Build and maintain post-integration forecasts based on diligence findings and transformation initiatives
- Support executive decision-making with clear insights, structured recommendations, and data-driven analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in business transformation, post-merger integration, consulting, or operational leadership within the software industry
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives across pricing, professional services, product/R&D, or operations
- Strong understanding of SaaS or software business models
- Experience implementing process improvements or digital/AI-enabled transformations
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Comfortable operating in a decentralized, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
