About the role
- Identify, qualify, and onboard partners across dealer management system (DMS) providers, automotive CRMs, OEM programs, service scheduling platforms, dealer group networks, lead generation platforms, and adjacent automotive technology ecosystems.
- Develop and execute a partner sourcing strategy aligned with Viova’s expansion roadmap, starting with franchised and independent dealerships and extending into multi-rooftop dealer groups, fleet operators, and automotive service chains.
- Build repeatable partner onboarding playbooks, including qualification criteria, integration scoping, and launch readiness checklists.
- Collaborate with partners on referral programs, reseller agreements, co-marketing initiatives, and joint go-to-market campaigns targeting dealer principals, service directors, and fixed ops leaders.
- Track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, and performance metrics to ensure partnerships translate into measurable business outcomes.
- Support partner sales enablement: equip channel partners and resellers with the positioning, materials, and training to effectively sell and recommend Viova to their dealer customers.
- Work with Product and Engineering to scope, prioritize, and manage integration timelines — from initial partner requirements through testing and launch across DMS platforms, scheduling tools, and CRM systems.
- Serve as the connective tissue between external partners and internal teams, ensuring integration work stays on track and partners have a consistent, professional experience throughout.
- Own ongoing partner relationships: regular check-ins, QBRs, performance reviews, and escalation management.
- Maintain partner CRM records, documentation, and internal playbooks.
- Share structured market and partner feedback with Product and leadership to inform roadmap and go-to-market decisions particularly around dealer needs, competitive dynamics, and DMS ecosystem trends.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel sales within B2B SaaS or automotive technology.
- Demonstrated experience working with dealer groups, OEM networks, or automotive technology companies you understand the structure of the industry and how decisions get made at the dealership level.
- Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and close partnership and reseller agreements.
- Strong project coordination skills: comfortable managing multiple integration workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Builder mindset: you can create and refine partner programs, playbooks, and processes from scratch.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills across technical and business audiences — from DMS product managers to dealer principals.
- Familiarity with SaaS products and API-based integrations.
- North America based; must have the ability to engage with dealer group decision-makers and automotive tech partners across the U.S. and Canada.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Direct experience in automotive retail technology: DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, DealerSocket), service scheduling tools, automotive CRMs, or OEM technology programs.
- Experience selling into or partnering with multi-rooftop dealer groups or automotive service chains at the enterprise level.
- Familiarity with fixed operations workflows service scheduling, BDC operations, and service advisor processes and how technology fits into the service lane.
- Experience working with marketplace or platform ecosystems where integrations drive distribution.
- Familiarity with modern CRM and partner management tooling (HubSpot or similar).
- Experience in a high-growth or early-stage SaaS environment where you had to build the motion, not just run it.
