About the role
- Drive new mid-market and enterprise business by cultivating and generating new business leads, positioning our SaaS solution, delivering precise sales projections, negotiating terms, and securing deals.
- Own full-cycle sales for mid-market through enterprise accounts, focusing on consistent pipeline generation and closing near-term revenue.
- Spearhead the entire sales process from prospecting to contract finalization, pricing strategies, and closure for all product lines, collaborating closely with prospects and internal teams at KidKare.
- Actively generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and strategic account targeting, while partnering closely with Marketing to convert warm inbound leads into closed revenue.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and prospects by building trust and confidence at multiple levels within and across multiple organizations.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of KidKare’s products, services, and the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) to effectively articulate our value proposition. Take charge of CACFP regulations and compliance, ensuring informed discussions with prospects about their business challenges and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and generate referrals.
- Work with the finance team to develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines, while also cultivating a collaborative relationship between Sales and Marketing to enhance demand generation and lead quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within CRM.
- Maintain and leverage quality data and analytics to generate actionable reports and forecasts to make informed decisions, optimize account performance, and track results.
- Develop presentations and proposals that communicate the value of our products in alignment with each unique prospect’s needs and objectives and represent the face of KidKare at industry conferences.
- *Government sales are a longer-term growth opportunity. This role is not expected to lead state or government deals immediately but should have the potential to grow into this responsibility over time.*
- Over time, Identify, research, and build new business relationships with State Agencies in partnership with internal leadership.
- Travel for in-person meetings with prospects, customers, and partners to develop key relationships. Attending trade shows, industry, and customer events as necessary.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SaaS software sales experience – specifically focused on relationship and consultative sales.
- Minimum of 5 years experience directly selling enterprise or mid-market SaaS solutions. Experience with government sales and experience driving procurement & RFP processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record as a sales hunter with the ability to consistently close mid-market and enterprise deals and build repeatable revenue.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills - the ability to speak fluently to senior executives, salespeople, and product managers.
- Familiarity with government relations and procurement processes is helpful
- Excited to own hands-on mid-market and enterprise sales immediately, with interest in expanding into government opportunities over time.
