About the role
- Input, audit, and process U.S. payroll for multiple subsidiaries with varying levels of complexity
- Support payroll implementation of new acquisitions
- Resolve payroll inquiries from stakeholders and serve as the primary escalation point
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance for payroll transitions and data migrations
- Participate in year-end close activities, audits, and remittance to U.S. state authorities
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state payroll regulations
- Contribute to process improvements and identify best practices
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams
- Lead and participate in special projects and ad-hoc initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of U.S. payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax, state and federal labor laws
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience with multiple payroll platforms and tools
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with international payroll is an asset
