About the role
- The Finance Business Partner will play a strategic role in financial reporting, planning, analysis and decision-support, working across multiple business units.
- This position partners closely with operational and commercial teams, providing financial insights that drive performance, efficiency and sustainable long-term growth.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including the monthly close and account reconciliations.
- Ensure all financial information is accurate, consistent and compliant with accounting and regulatory standards.
- Participate in audits and fulfill compliance requirements, including the transition to IFRS.
- Ensure tax compliance: support tax optimization reviews, manage processes for filing tax obligations, assist with audits and ensure adherence to applicable accounting and tax legislation.
- Work with operational and commercial teams to turn financial analyses into actionable strategies.
- Support business leaders with data-driven decisions related to pricing, budgeting, investments and cost optimization.
- Challenge and influence strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and long-term growth.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities to improve performance.
- Lead budget, forecast and variance analysis processes.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports with key financial metrics, trends and performance drivers.
- Support financial integration activities, including account mapping, implementation of reporting requirements and governance standards.
- Ensure monthly reporting cadence, reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality and data accuracy.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (CRC, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance (Big 4 experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (BR GAAP / IFRS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a significant advantage.
