About the role

  • Develop and Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of Sadie’s AI receptionist platform using Next.js, Node.js/Typescript and Python.
  • AWS Integration: Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch to build scalable and reliable infrastructure.
  • Logging and Monitoring: Implement and manage logging solutions to ensure application performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Coaching and mentoring: Support developers of all levels by performing code reviews, one on one coaching sessions, and leading by example.
  • Knowledge sharing: Contribute to sharing knowledge within the organization by documenting best practices, presenting in live sessions, etc.
  • Optimize Performance: Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security to provide an exceptional user experience.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Deployment and CI/CD: Manage deployment processes and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of our AI-driven solutions

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Node.js and Python for backend development, and Next.js or React for frontend development.
  • AWS Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Full Stack Knowledge: Strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, enabling you to build comprehensive solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver highimpact projects.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and new challenges.
