About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides executive level vision, innovation, and overall leadership to campuses
  • Oversees two non-residential campuses with strong enrollments in first responder programs
  • Collaborates with the college’s executive team and external constituent groups
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Engages in friend- and fundraising locally and contributes to college-wide projects
  • Oversees all operations at the campuses adhering to college-wide policy
  • Provides effective engagement with community stakeholders
  • Develops organizational, leadership, and diversity initiatives promoting a culture of professional excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrate sound executive-level management skills
  • Productive, positive experiences working with diverse communities and leading employees of various backgrounds
  • Innovative approaches to conventional systems
  • Success partnering with external organizations to solve community needs
  • Knowledge of and experience with managing a complex organization
  • Direct experience leading an academic unit in a multi-campus (system) environment
  • Understanding of applied and community education programming highly desirable
  • Successful experience working with K-12, business, local government, and/or non-profit partners is essential
  • Graduate education from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant executive or senior level experience or equivalent
  • Ten years’ experience in complex organizations preferred.
