About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of medical communications projects from strategy through delivery.
  • Provide scientific and strategic consultation to clients across a range of therapeutic areas and products.
  • Manage the planning and execution of projects including medical education initiatives, satellite symposia, congress activities, launch planning, and digital or multimedia programs.
  • Apply strong project management and leadership skills to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
  • Research and interpret scientific literature to provide subject matter expertise and strategic recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted partnerships and ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify opportunities for growth, and consistently deliver high business standards.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, with line management responsibilities where applicable.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of experience in healthcare or medical communications
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and strategic healthcare communications
  • proven ability to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex client programs
  • experience working on advisor boards in a medical communications setting
  • highly collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams and with clients
  • a strategic thinker who uses sound judgment to solve problems and make informed decisions
  • self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
