Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical pillar within a cross-functional team, providing deep technical expertise, peer mentorship, and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with product and technical leaders to conceptualize, plan, and execute on solutions that align with business goals.
Take end-to-end ownership of the delivery of key technical projects.
Act as a catalyst for technical excellence, setting the benchmark for high-quality code, building resilient and observable services, and championing the creation of comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Has 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, 2+ of those years being in a senior role.
Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design, build, and ship solutions to complex technical problems.
Knows how to get the most out of AI-powered development techniques.
Brings empathy to the table, can communicate effectively within and outside the engineering organization.
Is passionate about solving problems involving complex systems related to the delivery of high quality healthcare.
Languages and frameworks: Python (FastAPI, Uvicorn, Pydantic), Javascript, Typescript, sometimes Go.
Databases: MySQL, Redis, BigQuery.
Tools: Terraform, Helm on Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, GCP Pub/Sub.
