Compliance

• Assist in ensuring regulatory policies and procedures are being followed consistently across the company.
• Research classification, ADCVD, PGA, 19CFR issues as assigned.
• Troubleshoot entry questions, failures, rejects through research and communication with CBP ABI Rep.
• Write and submit Post Summary Corrections through ABI system or Protests through ACE Portal.
• Discuss, complete and submit surety bonds, approving and submitting billing.
• Prepare shipper’s insurance and approve and submit billing.
• Develop and implement reporting functions in operating system to manage statement, entry related data.

Product Manager

• We’re seeking a Product Owner to guide the discovery, delivery, and adoption of enterprise supply-chain and transportation platforms
• You’ll translate business strategy into outcomes, own and order the product backlog, and ensure each increment delivers measurable value to operations and customers
• The role blends logistics/TMS domain fluency with strong product execution in an Agile environment
• The Product Owner is accountable for maximizing value and for effective backlog management (vision, ordering, clarity), working closely with engineering, design, QA, data, and integration teams
• You’ll be part of a cross-functional product team supported by a Scrum Master; you own the vision, prioritization, and acceptance of increments
• Translate product strategy into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria and supporting context
• Maintain and prioritize a well-groomed backlog in Jira, balancing technical dependencies, user needs, and business priorities; keep 1–2 sprints of “Ready” work
• Own value and ordering—make timely scope and priority calls; accept or reject increments against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD)

• The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing and maintaining new business clients in Ascent’s focused Mobility Vertical.
• This individual’s focus is to create strategic relationships with key Customers within the Mobility markets to strengthen Ascent’s position in time-critical and premium logistics solutions.
• New Business Development: Builds and maintains relationships with logistic contracts through regular, in-person professional communications and travel, developing multiple contacts within the account hierarchy.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with mid-tier and top-tier customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business contracts with a target value exceeding $25 million.
• In-depth knowledge of the mobility sector or of similar fast-paced and dynamic industries.
• Identify and create opportunities for Ascent’s time-critical and premium transportation solutions.
• Deliver compelling solutions for prospective Customers that create sustainable value.
• Build strategic relationships with key personnel on various levels of the Customer organization.
• Provide regular market updates and intelligence to the Customer.
• Act as trusted advisor to the Customer and offer support for all transportation and supply chain related matters.

Director of Business Development – Mobility Vertical

Vice President

• Lead the development of On Demand, time-critical solutions that combine air, ocean, and ground services, ensuring operational feasibility, scalability, and alignment with customer supply chain objectives.
• Partner with Business Development and KAM to design customer-specific logistics strategies, build competitive cost models, and support global RFQ and tender responses with optimized network and pricing solutions.
• Work with Finance and Procurement to validate cost assumptions, assess profitability, and ensure margin protection through data-driven rate modeling and lane optimization.
• Oversee the Business Implementation Team to manage post-award transition and onboarding of new global accounts—coordinating project timelines, SOP development, IT integration, KPI setup, and operational go-live readiness.
• Serve as the bridge between Business Development, Operations, and Product Management to ensure new business solutions are executable across all transport modes and compliant with carrier, customs, and trade requirements.
• Establish global frameworks, templates, and methodologies for solution design, implementation, and governance to drive consistency, speed, and quality across regions.
• Embed visibility platforms, automation tools, and analytics into solution design, leveraging digital freight management systems to enhance customer transparency and control.
• Act as a strategic advisor to customers, identifying opportunities for supply chain optimization, carbon footprint reduction, and network redesign using data insights and continuous improvement processes.
• Build, coach, and develop a global team of solution engineers and implementation managers to strengthen technical, commercial, and analytical capabilities.
• Review post-implementation performance, gather lessons learned, and drive corrective actions to enhance future solution and implementation quality.

Vice President – Enterprise Solutions

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Support Ascent’s Global Annual Financial Planning & Continuous Financial Forecasting Program by working collaboratively with internal business partners and the FP&A team to create an annual financial plan and forecasts for Ascent’s corporate functional departments and business lines, and other areas as assigned
• Support Ascent’s Monthly Financial Review Program by working collaboratively with internal business partners and your FP&A teammates to facilitate monthly financial reviews for Ascent’s business lines and for other areas as assigned
• Support the maintenance and expansion of Ascent’s FP&A Technology Platform , which is comprised of Alteryx workflows, a Snowflake data warehouse, Power BI dashboards and Excel based reports. The underlying data of the warehouse is sourced from various transportation management systems and the Great Plains accounting system
• Support the completion of the projects and initiatives from the Annual FP&A Continuous Improvement Plan
• Perform ad-hoc analysis & reporting as assigned and assist with special projects to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop proficiency in all relevant financial systems, policies, and procedures.
