About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Lead recruitment efforts for internal fractional financial professionals joining the Ascent CFO Solutions team from the Senior Accountant level all the way up to CFO
- Source and place external interim financial professionals to support client engagements
- Perform reference checks
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices, including AI
- Manage the overall interview, selection, closing and offer letter process
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Be familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team, including weekly leadership meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have Accounting & Finance recruiting experience
- Agency Recruiting experience strongly preferred
- 5+ years of recruiting experience
- Effective communicator
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently juggle multiple tasks at once
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking (ATS) and HRIS systems
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Able to make decisions based on ambiguous/incomplete information
- Great follow up skills
- Experience managing a funnel or pipeline
