Supporting and maintaining the organization’s technology environment, including user systems, servers, applications, networks, and related infrastructure
Assisting with day-to-day technology operations, system maintenance, user support, security controls, documentation, and technology improvement initiatives
Responding to requests for technical support, documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution
Adding and maintaining users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security and configurations are within standards
Maintaining an adequate level of knowledge of operating systems, applications, and services being used to provide high-level support to users
Identifying recurring technical issues and recommend practical improvements that increase reliability, security, efficiency, or user experience
Investigating alerts, service interruptions, performance problems, and other technical issues, escalating to senior personnel or external providers when appropriate
Supporting information security practices such as access control, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, logging, and incident response
Coordinating with technology vendors, service providers, and application support teams to troubleshoot issues and complete maintenance or implementation activities
Installing workstations, servers, printers, applications, and other services according to schedule or as requested
Participating in technology projects such as system upgrades, equipment replacements, application deployments, infrastructure improvements, and process automation
