About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of comprehensive category negotiation strategies
  • Manage the end-to-end contract life cycle
  • Synthesize complex market trend data and research to provide expert guidance and actionable insights
  • Facilitate communication of clinically or operationally relevant information, including product recalls/alerts, benefits, educational opportunities, and contract announcements
  • Facilitate engagement of end-users and stakeholders to inform strategies and achieve consensus on contract awards
  • Ensure contracts meet professional, clinical, and operational standards
  • Conduct regular reviews of contract performance with onsite Integration teams or key stakeholders
  • Maximize value delivery and proactively communicate relevant information
  • Manage associates day to day, including hiring, training, onboarding, professional development, coaching, and feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in contract category management, with pharmacy contract category management experience strongly preferred
  • Professional experience within a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) or complex healthcare supply chain environment, preferably managing pharmaceutical or clinical categories
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
