About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day operations of assigned accounting areas, including processing transactions, analysis and reporting, and resolution of escalated issues
Balance cost, efficiency, and service delivery in handling transactions and organizational requests
Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, processes, and templates
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards
Examine operational policies and recommend process improvements and regulatory-compliance enhancements
Resolve escalated or complex associate issues requiring managerial intervention or involving other process areas
Report on Service Level Agreement metrics and emphasize key performance indicators for general accounting
Meet or exceed contractual service level agreements and manage General Accounting costs
Monitor the regulatory environment and recommend policy, plan, and process modifications
Manage accounting reporting requirements and use reporting tools to identify problems and propose resolutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
Licensure required relevant to the state in which work is performed
Accountant preferred
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
