About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and direct Net Revenue Management priorities across multiple Kansas hospitals, managing local staff while maintaining strong communication with regional site leadership.
- Manage AR valuation and net revenue projections using standardized Revenue Cycle Analytics (Kodiak RCA) methods to explain changing priors to leadership.
- Partner with the third-party revenue cycle vendor through month-end to evaluate reimbursement and monitor financial impacts across different types of large and small hospitals.
- Oversee the end-to-end Medicare cost report lifecycle—including preparation, filing, and audits—coordinating staggered year-end deadlines with leadership input.
- Standardize third-party settlement models and account for specialized cost report variables, including medical education, organ transitions, and medical transplants or acquisitions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with both Kodiak RCA and Medicare cost reports.
- Knowledge of Kansas Medicaid supplemental funding programs is a plus.
- Experience hiring, training, and developing staff within a Net Revenue Management environment.
