About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advice, support, and counsel to the legal function for strategic and operational priorities.
- Keep current with legal developments affecting the health law practice area to incorporate into advice and support. Execute tasks under the general guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain regular contact with a variety of clients; demonstrate clear communication skills and a strong appreciation for the business and operational needs of clients.
- Support, promote, and implement legal initiatives. Advance the implementation of policies and procedures. Effectively identify issues and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
- Appropriately manage and steward internal and outside counsel financial resources.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Attorney obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Juris Doctorate degree required.
- 5 years of experience as licensed, practicing attorney required.
