About the role

  • Design and execute prospective and retrospective HEOR studies (database analyses, comparative effectiveness, meta-analyses/systematic reviews, PRO studies)
  • Develop and support global economic models and local adaptations for European and international markets
  • Follow best practices for HEOR data collection, analysis, modeling, dissemination and publication
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical Affairs) on HEOR evidence generation
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop global core-value, AMCP and reimbursement/HTA dossiers
  • Lead vendor management for HEOR projects including contracting, project management, and invoice approval
  • Participate in development, review and writing of abstracts, posters, presentations and manuscripts for evidence dissemination
  • Review and summarize published HEOR literature and conduct focused literature reviews and systematic reviews
  • Manage multiple projects and budgets and contribute to product value propositions through the product lifecycle
  • Report to the Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (based in the UK); be based in Denmark, the UK, Spain, or Germany

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HEOR experience in the pharmaceutical or a related industry
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally
  • Minimum of Master’s degree required (Ph.D. preferred) in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, Public Health or related discipline
  • Experience in payer tool development and data dissemination strategy, including dossier development and reimbursement submission
  • Experience in the design and development of budget impact and cost effectiveness models
  • Expertise in the design and methodological considerations of real-world evidence studies, including administrative claims analysis, patient reported outcome data, electronic medical records and registry databases
  • Expertise and understanding of global healthcare systems and payers
  • Experience with HTA processes and successful negotiations through HTA
  • Vendor management, contracting, project management, and invoice approval experience
  • Strong scientific writing, presentation and publication experience
