About the role
- Develop and maintain the SOX Framework, including scoping, entity level controls, risk management, and control design
- Perform control testing and control test reporting
- Responsible for control performance and monitoring controls
- Liaise with IT team on SOX IT general controls
- Participate in maintaining and developing the Process Framework
- Liaise with Finance teams on operational finance controls
- Participate in group controlling activities and regulatory filings, including filings to the SEC
- Participate in group accounting and reporting projects, including automation and use of AI
- Report directly to Senior Finance Director Group Accounting & Reporting and collaborate across global finance and cross-functional teams
- Join Group Accounting & Reporting team of 5 members and be based in Hellerup
Requirements
- Relevant academic degree, preferably cand.merc.aud or similar international degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the audit and/or accounting field
- Experience in working with SOX compliance under SEC / PCAOB requirements
- Experience with establishing finance processes, performing risk assessment and control design
- Experience with IFRS accounting standards
- Experience with integrated systems and tools (Impero, D365, IBM Planning/Analytics “Cognos”, Power BI)
- Experience working in a global group with several foreign entities and accounting frameworks
- Ability to navigate cross-functional tasks and projects within Finance and interact with other departments
- Forward-looking and mindful approach
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Skilled in English communication
- Proactive hands-on attitude in a fast-moving environment
