About the role

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Data within SQL and NoSQL platforms
  • Provide operational support and optimizations including performance optimization, replication, backup, restore, and disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with Developers, Azure engineers, and Azure Security professionals
  • Automate operations with Bash, PowerShell, and Python
  • Manage Azure DevOps security and permissions
  • Create and maintain work items and report on velocity and cycle time

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as Azure Data Engineer
  • Expert at designing, deploying, and operating Azure data infrastructure
  • Working Azure infrastructure knowledge
  • Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust and least-privilege security models
  • Experience managing Azure DevOps security and permissions
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and reporting metrics
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Azure Certifications
  • Exposure to application development (C#, Python, etc.)
  • Linux and Windows experience
