About the role
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for assigned White Glove Payroll clients with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and personalized service
- Serve as the primary relationship advisor for client payroll needs
- Provide proactive communication and guidance on payroll best practices and compliance matters
- Review and audit payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues with urgency and professionalism
- Maintain detailed and organized payroll records and client documentation
- Support quarter-end and year-end activities, including tax filings and W-2 processing
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the White Glove client experience
- Elevate and support team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Stay current on payroll legislation, technology updates, and industry trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive, hands-on payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (experience with client-facing payroll platforms preferred)
