About the role

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing for assigned White Glove Payroll clients with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and personalized service
  • Serve as the primary relationship advisor for client payroll needs
  • Provide proactive communication and guidance on payroll best practices and compliance matters
  • Review and audit payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements
  • Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Maintain detailed and organized payroll records and client documentation
  • Support quarter-end and year-end activities, including tax filings and W-2 processing
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the White Glove client experience
  • Elevate and support team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Stay current on payroll legislation, technology updates, and industry trends

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive, hands-on payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (experience with client-facing payroll platforms preferred)
