- Manage a client list and deliver superior service as a trusted advisor
- Manage client portfolio, ensuring high-quality service
- Prepare, review, and timely file all tax forms with accuracy and compliance
- Provide tax provision preparation, review, and support for complex engagements
- Enhance efficiency across project initiatives
- Mentor and coach team members to drive professional development
- Stay up-to-date with tax regulations, conduct research, and consult on complex tax matters
- Contribute to business development and departmental efficiency enhancements
- Collaborate with members across Opsahl Dawson and Ascend
Requirements
- CPA or EA
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience directly managing and interacting with clients through a variety of channels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software
- Experience leading/managing teams
- Advanced knowledge of CCH Axcess and QuickBooks (preferred)
- Substantial knowledge of 1040, 1041, Partnerships, S-Corps, and 1099 (preferred)
