About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the reliability of accounting and treasury for several entities within the group.
- Combine a strong operational role (general accounting, month-end/period-end closings, treasury) with active contribution to process improvements.
- Supervise an accounting intern.
- Post complex accounting entries (provisions, cut-off adjustments, accruals, intercompany entries, etc.).
- Maintain the full accounting records for multiple group entities through to the balance sheet.
- Monitor daily cash positions and bank accounts.
- Propose and implement optimizations for accounting and treasury processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a Master’s-level degree in accounting, finance, or related field (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent).
- 8–10 years’ experience in general accounting, ideally in an SME or multi-entity group.
- Proven experience with period-end closings and corporate treasury management.
- Strong knowledge of French accounting standards (French GAAP) and international standards (IFRS).
- Good understanding of treasury operations and intercompany cash flows.
- Rigorous, autonomous, with a strong sense of priorities.
- Proficient with an ERP (Sage, Cegid, etc.) and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Familiarity with factoring arrangements and short-term financing mechanisms.
- Adaptable and agile, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
- Curious, committed to continuous improvement, and comfortable with technical topics.
- Fluent in English.
