About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide, motivate and develop the Engineering team;
Make technical decisions and act to resolve complex problems;
Maintain established standards and practices within the area, guiding the team to transform business logic into high-quality code;
Define and implement new features;
Understand and discuss problems and proposed solutions, always seeking the best technical solution for the challenges encountered;
Convey relevant technical information to the business and to other areas and people involved in product and solution development (team, other leads, managers, stakeholders, etc.);
Review code delivered by the team, providing feedback;
Guide the team in breaking down large deliverables into small, cohesive parts;
Monitor solutions deployed to production, evaluating errors, performance and availability;
Keep up with market trends, identify opportunities for innovation and guide the team in adopting solutions that drive the company’s growth and competitiveness;
Collaborate on improvements or new standards for the Engineering knowledge base.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in mobile development using Android, iOS, Flutter or .NET MAUI / Xamarin.Forms;
Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
Proficiency in the MVVM architectural pattern;
Proficiency in native development using Handlers/Renderers;
Knowledge of Software Architecture, principles and design patterns;
Familiarity with the inner workings of native platforms, such as versioning, permissions, activities, view controllers, fragments and related concepts;
Skills in conflict management, decision-making, assertive communication and strategic vision.
