About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the focal point and translator between Finance, Technology and Data teams, ensuring business rules are translated into scalable system architectures;
- Map, analyze and redesign complex accounting and financial flows (e.g., new financial products and M&A integrations), identifying bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities;
- Design and implement end-to-end financial process automations using low-code/no-code tools (e.g., N8N, Zapier) or scripting languages (Python);
- Extract, model and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL;
- Manage the project backlog and systemic demands of the finance area using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and management tools (Jira/Monday);
- Lead user acceptance testing and implementation of new tools, mitigating risks of failures in financial processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in complex/strategic projects, roadmap definition and management of multiple stakeholders
- Solid experience in finance areas (FP&A, Controllership or Financial Operations), with deep understanding of accounting routines and processes;
- Practical command of SQL for queries and cross-referencing complex databases;
- Proven experience in creating automations and system integrations (via tools like N8N/Zapier/RPA or direct API consumption);
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and technical backlog management;
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Metabase or similar);
- Hands-on profile with the ability to move from process strategy to technical execution of financial processes;
- Previous experience in financial institutions, fintechs or high-transaction-volume banks.
