About the role

  • Act as a Data Analyst, collaborating with product squads and partnering with other data professionals (Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists)
  • Design and run experiments and A/B analyses to test and validate product-related hypotheses
  • Apply advanced statistical methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series modeling
  • Create reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (such as Metabase and Databricks Lakeview) to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the data catalog, working closely with the Analytics Engineering team

Requirements

  • Professional experience in data analysis using Python
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of causal inference, especially in the analysis of A/B tests
  • Ability to apply advanced statistical methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series modeling
  • Hands-on experience developing data products, as a data scientist or analyst
  • Degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Professional experience with BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) using them to build reports and dashboards
  • Strong ability to communicate study results and analyses to audiences with varying levels of data literacy
  • Nice-to-haves: Experience in fintechs, payments or other financial institutions; experience with machine learning models; experience with the Databricks platform; experience implementing or maintaining data catalogs; experience with code versioning on GitHub; experience with agile methodologies; knowledge of Bayesian methods
