About the role

  • Actively participate in developing leaders and other team members, promoting training and the formation of high-performance teams;
  • Coordinate and guide the fraud prevention team, managing daily activities, setting clear goals and ensuring expected performance;
  • Contribute to the creation and review of internal policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with market best practices and regulations;
  • Optimize workflows to ensure operational efficiency and high quality standards;
  • Continuously monitor suspicious activities and transactions, identifying new fraud patterns and supporting the implementation of quick and effective containment measures;
  • Collaborate and coordinate efforts with internal teams (Product, IT, Compliance, Customer Service, etc.), sharing information and building integrated solutions for fraud cases;
  • Develop and present materials to communicate results, strategies and insights to different internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in leadership roles within fraud prevention operations
  • Strong knowledge of fraud prevention processes (onboarding, account opening, KYC and AML)
  • Thorough knowledge of Central Bank regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience with storytelling
  • Experience with data analysis tools (DataBricks, SQL or Python)
