About the role

  • Develop, validate, version and monitor commercial models using Machine Learning algorithms and advanced statistics (e.g., forecasting, lead scoring and health scoring)
  • Conduct analyses and studies to support the commercial team’s decisions, translating business questions into hypotheses, analyses and actionable recommendations
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and model lifecycle processes (deployment, monitoring, retraining and hyperparameter tuning)
  • Work closely with the Sales team and peers in a collaborative manner, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth, ensuring high-quality, impactful deliveries
  • Stay up to date with new techniques and trends in ML/AI and Analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong theoretical knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning (regression, trees, ensembles, clustering, etc.)
  • Practical experience in data analysis and modeling for forecasting problems and customer scoring
  • Proficiency in Python and key libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Prophet, Pandas, etc.)
  • Advanced SQL for manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Experience developing, deploying and maintaining models in production
  • Knowledge of interpretability methods (e.g., SHAP, LIME) to explain model decisions
  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems or proven practical experience
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have: experience in fintechs, payments market or other financial institutions; experience working with commercial/sales teams; experience with HubSpot integrations; experience with Databricks environments (Spark ML, MLflow, Asset Bundles); experience building neural network models; experience with code versioning on GitHub; experience applying storytelling concepts; experience implementing or tuning lead score and/or health score models; experience with agile methodologies; experience with Power BI, Metabase or other advanced visualization tools.
