About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architecture Leadership: Guide the design and evolution of the Audit Copilot platform, ensuring scalability, security, and traceability across the ecosystem.
Cross-Team Impact: Operate beyond your own team, identifying dependencies, mitigating technical risks, and ensuring integrations with Data teams are smooth and high-performing.
Operational Excellence: Define and uphold reliability standards (SLOs) and observability, turning incident learnings into systemic improvements to reduce toil.
Mentorship and Culture: Raise Arvo's technical bar by mentoring engineers, driving rigorous design reviews, and promoting best practices (TDD, CI/CD, Clean Architecture).
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Product to refine the technical scope of ambiguous initiatives, balancing trade-offs between delivery speed and technical debt.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer engineering or computer science, or equivalent practical experience in these areas
Strong experience building distributed systems
Knowledge of architectural patterns and coding best practices such as SOLID, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Layered Architecture, etc.
Experience with a cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience with relational (Postgres) and non-relational (Redis) databases
Use of AI tools and agents (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, LLMs for automation) to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation
