About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver innovative products and services at a rapid pace
- Own, automate, and troubleshoot Production Releases for Biocomputing solutions
- Implement Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD)
- Research, test, and pilot new metrics collection system
- Define, select, implement, and support a new configuration management system
- Work closely with development staff and train them
- Prototype reusable patterns and tools then coach developers
- Deconstruct an old file store with approved solution
- Provides the build and deployment support to multiple projects
- Assist development teams in implementing versioning and archiving of software artifacts
- Develop automation of manual activities in accordance with DevOps principles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or relevant technical role
- Experience with Windows / Linux Administration, AWS & AWSCLI, SaltStack, Docker, MS SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Splunk
- Ability to explain ideas/concepts simply and effectively
- Demonstrated work experience managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
- Works well with group inside and outside of defined team
