About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver innovative products and services at a rapid pace
Own, automate, and troubleshoot Production Releases for Biocomputing solutions
Implement Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD)
Research, test, and pilot new metrics collection system
Define, select, implement, and support a new configuration management system
Work closely with development staff and train them
Prototype reusable patterns and tools then coach developers
Deconstruct an old file store with approved solution
Provides the build and deployment support to multiple projects
Assist development teams in implementing versioning and archiving of software artifacts
Develop automation of manual activities in accordance with DevOps principles

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
5 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or relevant technical role
Experience with Windows / Linux Administration, AWS & AWSCLI, SaltStack, Docker, MS SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Splunk
Ability to explain ideas/concepts simply and effectively
Demonstrated work experience managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
Works well with group inside and outside of defined team
