The Systems Analyst II role will support the Ancillary IT lines of business, including dental, vision, and Consumer-Directed Health (CDH) products, with potential opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with pharmacy and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) IT teams.
Ensure the successful execution of production jobs, resolve defects, and develop or enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures.
Work on claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, and corrections.
Support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrolment.
Proficiency in SQL and Java would be an asset, enabling the resource to contribute to other core processes, such as reporting and benefit functions, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our IT operations.
Requirements
Employee must have strong mainframe (COBOL) skills
Ability to test packages on the mainframe, promote packages using change management.
SQL – database query, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes
Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business friendly language.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 10+ years’ experience.
