About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, program, configure, and install audio-visual systems
- Participate in architecture discussions and planning with IT and Facilities teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment
- Conduct comprehensive quality checks of installations
- Manage assigned projects and service tickets
- Manage A/V equipment inventory
- Provide backup support for live events or studio productions
- Provide customer input in technical and business terms with descriptive requirements
- Troubleshoot crisis situations for users
- Create end-user and internal AV team documentation
- Provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation
- Travel to support remote locations around the United States
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of related experience
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control
- Experience with AV and lighting control systems
- Familiarity with computers and IP network systems
- Experience with digital and analog audio mixing consoles
- Experience with wired and wireless microphones
- Experience with graphic and parametric equalizers, compressors, gates, and audio effects processors
- Advanced understanding of audio signal flow and routing
- Experience configuring and operating IMAG and projection equipment
- Experience with video routing/switching equipment
- Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and IP schemas
- Ability to provide after-hours support via an on-call rotation
- Ability to travel to remote US locations
