About the role

  • Analyze containments of nonconforming products.
  • Generate various documents, including dispositioning products.
  • Review supplier NCR reports, as well as provide suggestions for process improvements/enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains with engineering studies.
  • Obtain working knowledge of regulatory standards and their application.
  • Present findings to various stakeholders through metrics driven presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree or a recent graduate within the last six months required.
  • Sophomore or above, studying Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering preferred.
  • Statistical analysis experience (Minitab) preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues.
  • Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC, ProEngineer or other 3D modeling software (SolidWorks). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
