About the role
- Familiarization with advanced material models for all nonlinear finite element analyses and fatigue testing of orthopedic implants
- Testing various implant materials according to industry standards, collecting and analyzing data
- Simulating biomechanical tests on implants and validating the material models
- Developing best practices for simulation
Requirements
- Enrolled student in an engineering discipline, e.g., Mechanical Engineering or a related program
- Interest in combining mechanics and medicine
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or initial experience with finite element simulations
- Initial experience in biomechanical testing
- Ideally, basic knowledge of data analysis and statistics
- Very good written and spoken English skills
