About the role

  • Create, promote, and manage all sales initiatives, activities, and objectives
  • Manage the team effectively by assisting in sales, representation, and technical support on products including implants/instruments of Arthrex’s knee, hip arthroplasty, shoulder arthroplasty, and fracture line of products
  • Communicate/strategize with the Arthroplasty Manager to execute market strategy
  • Manage revenue targets for applicable products
  • Responsible for the Agency’s arthroplasty quota and strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Communicate Arthrex marketing programs for new products or enhancements
  • Responsible for leading the team in meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Communicate with customer accounts regarding product updates
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies
  • Create and submit team quotas to executive sales leadership
  • Establish and nurture relationships with residency and fellowship programs
  • Support and assist product managers with quota establishment
  • Devise and implement plans and meetings to hold the team accountable
  • Identify new prospects' needs and develop appropriate responses
  • Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions
  • Receive coaching, training or mentoring and transfer knowledge as needed
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of Arthroplasty experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be comfortable in open operating room environments
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it specifically relates to Arthrex
  • Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
  • Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
  • Prior sales experience is a plus
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-assurance and competitive drive
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and take responsibility for them
