Key responsibilities & impact

Own the revenue recognition schedule across SaaS subscriptions, usage-based fees, and professional services
Review customer contracts to determine treatment for multiple performance obligations
Design and implement agentic AI solutions to automate invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition workflows
Oversee NetSuite invoicing for recurring and usage-based billing
Execute month-end close for revenue accounts
Serve as the technical accounting point of contact for Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and FP&A
Develop ASC 606 policies and SOX-compliant documentation for revenue, billing, and order-to-cash
Collaborate with IT, RevOps, and Engineering on NetSuite enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial focus on revenue recognition in a SaaS, software, or technology environment.
Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 as applied to SaaS and subscription models
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Demonstrable ability to leverage agentic AI tools (such as Claude Code) to automate accounting and revenue workflows
Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or comparable cloud ERP) and Salesforce
Prior experience in high-growth SaaS, healthcare technology, or B2B software.
Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
