About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the communications plan, coaching plan, resistance management plan, sponsor road map, and training plan supporting internal and external adoption of all operational efficiencies from FY25 and FY26.
- Plan roadmaps and Integrated Master Schedule inputs for delivery of communication, training, and change management activities across multiple projects.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses, impact analyses, and implementation planning for organizational change activities.
- Create change management messaging materials, presentations, artifacts, and content, and deliver messaging, presentations, and training to VFMP audiences.
- Develop a Change Management Plan for Appeals directorate initiatives, including impacted stakeholders, messaging of changes to processes, staff, and technology, and ongoing monitoring and measurement of change management effectiveness.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years of experience leading organizational change management
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Prosci certification
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing complete change management packages (communications, coaching, resistance management, sponsor road map, and training plans)
- Experience conducting stakeholder analyses, impact analyses, and implementation planning, preferably including application of change management in a union environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
