About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the execution of a large, complex federal healthcare program focused on advancing telehealth capabilities and digital health solutions in support of the Veterans Health Administration
Coordinate day-to-day operations across initiatives that enhance access to care, improve clinical workflows, and expand the delivery of virtual health services for Veterans nationwide
Serve as a key integrator across technical, clinical, and operational teams, translating VHA priorities into actionable plans while maintaining visibility into program performance, risks, and dependencies
Oversee program operations, tracking deliverables and milestones tied to telehealth and health IT deployments
Support enterprise-wide implementation efforts across VHA medical centers and partner sites
Facilitate communication among government stakeholders, clinicians, and technical teams
Support workforce coordination; ensure consistency in processes, documentation, and reporting
Monitor program performance, support risk management and quality assurance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with VHA mission outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of relevant experience supporting program or project management efforts in a federal environment, preferably within healthcare or health IT programs
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex programs for federal clients such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal health agencies
Proven ability to manage day-to-day program operations, including tracking deliverables, schedules, and performance metrics across multiple workstreams
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders
Familiarity with telehealth, healthcare delivery systems, or health information technology (health IT) initiatives
Knowledge of federal program management practices, including risk management, quality assurance, and performance monitoring
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership and government stakeholders
Experience developing and maintaining program documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (or active clearance preferred)
