About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independent occupational safety support and advisory services for clients in accordance with the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) and DGUV Regulation 2
  • Conducting workplace/site inspections
  • Supporting the creation and updating of risk assessments
  • Advising on fire safety, first aid and work/safety instructions
  • Developing practical solutions for operational requirements
  • Strategic consulting for the further development of workplace health and safety
  • Point of contact for managers, employees and other company stakeholders on occupational safety matters
  • Planning and delivering seminars, training sessions and briefings
  • Supporting behavior-based and structural prevention measures
  • Analyzing workplace accidents and deriving appropriate accident prevention measures
  • Developing individual, practice-oriented client concepts
  • Contributing ideas to further develop the advisory and service offering
  • Providing structured and collaborative client support
  • Independently coordinating projects, appointments and agreed measures
  • Collaborating with colleagues from occupational medicine, health management, psychology and other specialist areas
  • Documenting consultation results and monitoring the implementation of agreed occupational safety measures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist / Safety Officer
  • Solid expertise in occupational health and safety and in providing technical safety support to companies in accordance with ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2
  • Independent, structured and precise way of working
  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills
  • Very good written and spoken German, at least B2 level
  • Confident and effective communication skills
  • Valid driving licence (Class B)
  • Willingness to carry out regional field service assignments
  • Good knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications
  • Practical experience in providing technical safety support to clients from various industries and company sizes is an advantage
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, fire safety, first aid or work/safety instructions is helpful
  • Experience in delivering seminars, training sessions or briefings is an advantage
  • Experience in independently organising and coordinating occupational safety measures is helpful
  • Interest in the continuous development of advisory and prevention measures
