About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Division President and profit center leaders to establish priorities, drive business and financial performance, and align the portfolio
- Lead execution and accountability for operating plans, growth initiatives, and key business objectives
- Lead integration and optimization of acquired businesses while preserving entrepreneurial culture and local expertise
- Develop growth plans and scalable operating models with profit center leaders
- Strengthen planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement with Finance leadership
- Oversee operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, remove barriers, and strengthen execution
- Identify and evaluate expansion, acquisition, carrier, capacity, partnership, and new business opportunities
- Build relationships with capacity providers, distribution partners, and key clients
- Partner on capacity initiatives, data strategy, broker and distribution strategy, technology enablement, and shared priorities
- Modernize platforms, improve data quality, expand automation and artificial intelligence, and implement performance-improving solutions
- Lead organizational change, technology implementations, and operating model evolution
- Foster a high-performance culture and support organizational design, staffing, succession planning, recruiting, development, performance management, and compensation programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in insurance, financial services, or related industries, including senior operational, business unit, or enterprise leadership roles
- Experience leading decentralized organizations with multiple business models, operating companies, or geographic locations
- Experience integrating acquired businesses and leading large-scale organizational change initiatives
- Strong understanding of insurance distribution, delegated authority operations, underwriting, claims administration, reinsurance, captive structures, or other specialty insurance operating models
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business models, products, distribution channels, and market segments
- Demonstrated success driving business performance and achieving financial and operational objectives in complex, multi-business organizations
- Experience partnering with Finance, Technology, Team Resources, Compliance, Legal, and other shared services functions
