About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for maintaining annual contact with Comp Alliance members, including safety inspections, safety committee attendance, and training.
  • Ability to communicate with members regarding their workplace injuries and safety programs.
  • Identify safety hazards and recommend improvements to correct them.
  • Utilize computer programs with fluency for reporting hazards and generating recommendations letter.
  • Understand how to decipher workers’ compensation injury reports.
  • Work well with members of the program team, including Underwriting, Claims and Marketing.
  • Perform training for member employees on variety of topics, with professional use of PowerPoint presentation materials.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams for routine virtual training sessions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum education – High School Diploma
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone and video demeanor
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel freely by car, including occasional overnight
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
