About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-line support for employee and manager queries and People Services requests
- Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contractual changes, promotions, transfers and leaver activities
- Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, letters, amendments and related correspondence
- Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity across HR systems and personnel files
- Support monthly payroll administration by providing accurate employee data
- Coordinate new starter onboarding, including right-to-work documentation, system setup requests and induction administration
- Monitor shared People Services inboxes and case management systems against service level expectations
- Assist with benefits administration, annual renewals and employee enrolment
- Produce people metrics and reports
- Support compliance activities and maintain employee documentation in line with legal and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for People Services processes, systems and employee experience
- Support wider People team projects and initiatives as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in an HR, People Services, People Operations or administrative support role
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and appropriate handling of confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience maintaining employee records and using HR information systems
- Good understanding of employee lifecycle administration and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Customer-focused approach to employee experience
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn, develop and improve processes
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation would be advantageous
