About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage directly with government end users selling HR-centric solutions such as Workday and HireVue
- Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory
- Plan sales strategy and develop key customer relationships
- Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts
- Ensure customer satisfaction related to supply chain management and value-added services
- Develop strategic plans for assigned accounts
- Sell and market Arrow offerings using knowledge of key supplier lines
- Prepare and present internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs)
- Lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities
- Promote and sell value-add, supply chain, and full life-cycle programs
- Use sales tracking systems, Salesforce.com, and Oracle Establish
- Build relationships with key suppliers
- Contribute to process improvements and provide informal guidance to junior staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- HR professionals looking to break into sales are encouraged to apply
- 50%+ travel as needed is required
- In-depth knowledge and experience
- Ability to solve complex problems using existing solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues
- Ability to contribute to process improvements
- Ability to provide informal guidance to junior staff
- Typically 5–7 years of related experience with a four-year degree, or 3 years and an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
- Must be a US citizen due to federal government contractual requirements
- Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment
- Comprehensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry
- In-depth knowledge of Arrow offerings and key supplier lines
- Proficiency in sales tracking systems, Salesforce.com, and Oracle Establish
- Ability to build relationships with key suppliers
