About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive technical support for customer design and system development.
  • Demand Creation: Focus on customer presentations, semiconductor product introductions, and technical sales training for the local Arrow Electronics sales team.
  • Account Management: Assist with selling opportunities through a planned discovery process.
  • Become proficient in understanding customer's needs and how to translate those needs to Arrow requirements or opportunities.
  • Relationships: Ability to stay current on product knowledge and/or obtain technical certifications.
  • Attend supplier training events to keep up to date on product line.
  • Understand supplier databases and keep design registration information accurate.
  • Display awareness and knowledge of current related technologies in customer base, and attend training as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a Technical Sales Representative or similar function
  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in semiconductor design, electrical engineer, sales engineer, field application engineer is preferred
  • French speaking is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and organization skills are key
  • Must have strong interpersonal and presentations skills and enjoy meeting with people
  • Experience / Education Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
