About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regional, local, and U.S. export and import control laws and regulations concerning the movement of goods and services across borders.
  • Act as a liaison among several internal groups across Arrow businesses such as IT, legal, sales, logistics, asset management, operations and others.
  • Provide import and export clearance support for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Provide analysis & regulatory guidance on preferential warehousing and trade agreement programs, and country specific regulations.
  • Conduct and report on internal business assessments regarding trade control procedures, including monitor of resulting action items.
  • Provide shipment clearance instructions on import and export transactions to internal and external contacts.
  • Design and implement solutions for business projects, including customer & supplier supply chain support, and for internal compliance matters.
  • Support integration of Arrow trade management & compliance processes with new businesses post acquisition.
  • Support system migrations and software integrations for trade management & compliance requirements.
  • Manage metrics reporting process, including analysis of data and recommendations to management.
  • Independently identify root causes and resolve issues pertaining to compliance impacts.
  • Create written procedures and policies to comply with internal and external customer requirements and service providers pertaining to processes.
  • Maintain operational processes to ensure an efficient and productive workflow.
  • Perform support functions to provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction while maintaining efficiencies in operational compliance processes and procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in international logistics execution and export operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. export control requirements, AES filings, ENC reporting, and trade documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across operational, financial, and compliance domains.
  • Experience in coordinating with 3rd-party logistics providers (LSP and IOR service providers) and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, tracking tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Oracle, Excel, Power BI).
  • Ability to manage multiple high-risk activities with minimal redundancy or backup.
  • This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).
